I have field tested this and it works great. Even with any solar power I recommend you put in at least a cheap set of batteries in case the sun doesn't shine for a few days, its up to you, this battery should last for weeks even with no sun. You will need a pouch or something to put the battery in.
This barrel plug has a positive center, so make sure your camera does too!

Camera must have a 12V external power jack designed to accept a barrel plug cable that attaches to an optional 12 Volt lead acid battery. Standard Polarity hookup is Center positive. Consult your owners manual or look at camera for polarity hook up. Hooking up wrong will damage your camera.
